1. Pick a look that highlights the "real" you. Brides like to experiment with different looks and hairstyles, but select something for your wedding day that's "you". You don't want to look back at you wedding photos and say, "What was I thinking?"
2. Do a trial run, even if you don't hire a pro. Whether it's a professional or a friend doing your wedding day hair and make-up, make sure you do a trial run and wear it ALL day. This gives the look an opportunity to grow on you, AND it gives you an opportunity to see how the "do" and make-up will hold up over the course of an entire day.

4. Reduce your sodium intake. A few weeks before your wedding, try to cut back on the sodium in your diet (this includes diet sodas).  Drink a lot of water. This will reduced puffiness around your eyes and give more definition in the contours of your face. You'll also you'll feel great!
5. Get your brows groomed by a professional. Your eyebrows frame your eyes, so it's important to have them groomed professionally before your wedding. Those close-up bridal photos will thank you for it!
